Gudh is jaggery: unrefined cane sugar made by slowly boiling fresh sugarcane juice. Ours is made from sugarcane and nothing else.

No. Our jaggery has no added refined sugar and is preservative free. Plant-based coagulants are used to treat the sugarcane juice.

It is prepared in an iron kadhai on firewood. The jaggery is then naturally dried and crushed or cut into powder, cubes and blocks.

Jaggery is a natural product, so some variation in colour and texture from batch to batch is completely normal.

Use it to sweeten tea, coffee, milk, porridge and baking. It dissolves easily.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, make sure the pack is tightly sealed to maintain freshness.

Best before 12 months from the date of manufacturing, as printed on each pack.
